Bathing beaches
There are two open beaches near Assens. Bathing is possible at Mariendal and by the Marina.
These two fine beaches have well-appointed facilities.
The area around Assens also includes a splendid array of beaches.
Good bathing beaches are found both north and south of Assens.
Aborg and Sandager Næs beaches are found in the north; while Torø Huse, Saltofte, Sønderby Klint, Å strand, Brydegård and Helnæs beaches are found to the south.
Baagø Island has a wonderful bathing beach as well.
