This Southwest Funen municipality is nestled like a gem at the heart of Denmark, cloaked in scenic beaches, woods and countryside. You can get to the hilly landscapes from both sea and land, where you will find attractive recreational activities and fishing, as well as the opportunity to explore age-old culture preserved in the region at churches, manor houses, castles, museums and cobbled streets in the town of Assens, lauded as one of the loveliest towns in Denmark.
